Occasional conflicts or discussions are a normal, natural part of intimate relationships and usually not a problem as long as we are able to repair them and feel good about each other again. Relational stress and anxiety usually start when we are no longer able to resolve these conflicts. They then begin taking over, we lose connection and start to grow apart.

Decrease conflict, increase contact

Through therapy sessions, you both can address your problems, and gain a better understanding of each other. It is important to be in an emotionally safe environment where you both have the opportunity to tell your own story. The focus of treatment will be on the dynamic in your relationship. You will learn how to create safety together. During that process it will become clear if you still feel love for each other and want to give your relationship a second chance. If so, we will work on repairing ruptures in your relationship and reconnecting together. Trust will be regained. Your relationship will become a place for bonding and love again.

One of the treatments offered is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT has been extensively researched and has shown to produce good results, especially for couples.
